Our support on Maui

Since the 2023 wildfires, we’ve contributed more than $2 million toward relief and recovery efforts. This includes $1 million for the Sentry Mālama Nā Keiki initiative, which provides mental health support to children impacted by the trauma of the fires, and $150,000 to the Pu’u Kukui Watershed Preserve to sustain its critical role as the primary water source for the west side of the island. Since becoming title sponsor of The Sentry on Maui in 2018, we’ve formed strong, year-round relationships with community leaders. They’re best positioned to identify ongoing needs of island residents and distribute the aid appropriately.

Maui is like family to us—our ohana, a Sentry community. We recognize Maui faces a long road to recovery. We’re committed to standing by island residents throughout the rebuilding process.

FAQs

Join us on Maui for this year’s tournament by visiting the PGA TOUR’s ticketing page. Choose from several options, including grounds tickets and covered clubhouse seats at one of golf’s most beautiful settings.

For 2025, players qualify for The Sentry by winning a PGA TOUR event in the previous calendar year. The field will also include the top 50 players from the FedExCup playoffs points list who haven’t previously won an event during the season.

Follow along with the PGA TOUR’s leaderboard throughout the tournament for the latest updates and standings.

Tee times typically start at 11:30 a.m ET on Thursday and Friday, and will vary Saturday and Sunday depending on the field size, weather, and broadcast schedule. Each round’s tee times will be set and announced on the prior day. Please check the PGA TOUR tee times page throughout the tournament for updated times.

The Sentry golf tournament is played on Maui at Kapalua’s Plantation Course.

One lucky winner will hoist a 35-pound trophy at the conclusion of Sunday’s round. Its features display the shape and color of two quotation marks—inspired by the Sentry logo—and take the form of a whale’s tail breaking through waves. Together, the trophy represents the energy of the island. See all of the work that went into this distinct trophy when it was originally designed in 2018.
