We expanded our reach through golf

The evolution of SentryWorld

SentryWorld is a staple in the Stevens Point community and a destination in the golf world. Built in the 1980s, our golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. to showcase central Wisconsin's best qualities. In 2013, our Chairman and CEO Pete McPartland decided to revitalize the golf course, a choice with far-reaching effects—including the opportunity to host the 43rd U.S. Senior Open in 2023.

“We decided, ‘Let’s go in bigger, better than ever.’ That’s what we did.”
