An update from Pete McPartland: Sentry temporarily expands work-from-home program
March 25, 2020
To our Sentry community,
I wanted to bring you up to date on the additional safety measures we are taking to protect our employees and customers amid the COVID-19 pandemic. While there are still a lot of unknowns, we want to do everything possible to assist our nation in its preventative efforts.
As of today, Sentry is temporarily expanding its work-from-home program to the vast majority of its employees nationwide. Only a limited number of employees will remain onsite at Sentry facilities to help ensure our business continuity plans—long in place for a time such as this—are operating as expected.
You can take comfort in knowing that our financial strength and business preparations have well-positioned us to keep services functioning efficiently and effectively for you. Additionally, we have a dedicated team closely monitoring events, ready to adapt our response as events evolve. Their focus is the health and safety of our employees, customers, families, and the public so we can continue to minimize any disruptions in service.
While most of our employees are working remotely, we are nonetheless committed to doing right by you and serving the needs of your business and of our community.
We encourage our friends everywhere to take the extra precautions necessary to safeguard their health and that of others, including practicing social distancing. It’s everybody’s responsibility to help stop the spread of this virus.
Our commitment to serving your needs is as strong as always. You have a right to expect no diminishment in our service and commitment to you. We are grateful for your business and appreciate your continued support. Please stay safe.
