The world’s best female junior golfers will compete July 22–27, 2019, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin
When the first ball is hit off the tee, history will have been made in the 71st running of the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship. It will mark the first time the USGA event has been played in Wisconsin.
SentryWorld is the proud host of this prestigious championship, which features the best female amateurs who’ve yet to turn 19.
There’s a lot at stake, as the champion earns an exemption into the following year’s U.S. Women’s Open.
Notable U.S. Girls’ champions include Hollis Stacy, winner of three U.S. Women’s Open titles; Nancy Lopez, who won 48 LPGA Tour events, including three major championships; and four-time U.S. Women’s Open champion Mickey Wright, who won 82 times on the LPGA Tour. Current stars who won this championship include Inbee Park (2002), Lexi Thompson (2008), Ariya Jutanugarn (2011), and Minjee Lee (2012).
Attendance is free and open to the public.
