Former health insurance executive brings wealth of expertise to Sentry
STEVENS POINT, Wis. (April 23, 2024) – Susan Morisato, a former Senior Executive at UnitedHealthcare (UHC), the health benefits business of UnitedHealth Group, has joined Sentry’s Board of Directors.
Morisato brings over three decades of health insurance experience to Sentry's board. During her 10-year tenure as President of Insurance Solutions at UHC Medicare & Retirement, the largest Medicare Supplement program in the country with $11 billion in annual revenue, the program saw substantial revenue and market growth.
Morisato also served as Chief Operating Officer of UHC’s Medicare Advantage business. Prior to UHC she worked at Bankers Life and Casualty in a variety of management roles.

Morisato, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois, holds a master's degree in Mathematics and a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Education from the University of Illinois. She is also a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
